The iTest platform is a comprehensive virtual training resource designed to prepare high school students for the National Unified Test (NUT), final certification exams, and external assessment tests (OJSB). As of now, its question bank comprises approximately 60,000 unique questions and exercises in both Kazakh and Russian languages, carefully curated to cover the full spectrum of exam topics.

One notable innovation aimed at enhancing accessibility is the free iTest mobile application, which allows students to prepare anytime and anywhere by downloading the app at no cost. This development significantly increases the flexibility and convenience of exam preparation, enabling consistent practice outside traditional classroom settings.

Aligned with the format of the NUT, the virtual educational complex offers preparation materials in both Kazakh and Russian for three core subjects—mathematical literacy, reading literacy, and Kazakh history—as well as thirteen профильные (profile) subjects, including mathematics, Kazakh language, Russian language, literature, physics, chemistry, biology, English, German, French, geography, world history, and social studies. This extensive coverage provides students with tailored resources to meet diverse academic requirements.

iTest provides unique preparatory materials geared toward final certifications. It includes resources for practicing oral exams in core subjects such as Kazakh history and essay writing, as well as algebra and analysis through audio lessons. Additionally, the platform features specialized training modules in linguistic sciences designed to facilitate preparation for international assessments. Overall, iTest proves especially beneficial for mastering foreign languages.

The electronic system allows for individual module-based training per subject area, aiming to replicate the actual conditions of NUT administration and final certification to improve exam readiness. In 2019, new sections dedicated to preparing for the external assessment tests of grades 4, 9, and 11 were added to the iTest website. These tests are conducted with questions presented in random order across different subjects; students are not informed beforehand which subjects will be tested but can choose to take specific tests for any of these subjects independently.

Within the OJSB section, all subjects taught in grades 4, 9, and 11 are represented comprehensively. The platform supports unlimited attempts—either for a full test or focusing on individual profile subjects—each consisting of 30 questions: 20 single-answer questions from five options and 10 multiple-answer questions from eight options. Test questions are divided into sections reflecting key themes encountered in actual exams. Each theme includes brief overview lectures or summaries along with test exercises. During testing, students can view their statistics, revisit previous questions to modify answers, and upon completion receive detailed results to analyze errors—facilitating a more effective mastery of curriculum content.
